Rachelle “Rae” Junsay (she/her) is a young climate defender from the Philippines, amplifying the voices of landless farmers and urban poor in their battles against corporate plunder and ecological destruction. She mobilizes youth toward collective action, community integration, and policy change, fusing activism with sharp analysis rooted in genuine people’s struggles for justice.
She started her climate journey as an advocate for sustainable business practices before finding her passion in organizing mass-oriented campaigns and being an educational discussion instructor. Her advocacy focuses on collective youth action, ensuring that the youth today and of the future generation will live in a system that is for the people and planet.
