John Carl R. Cabangon (they/them) is a climate justice activist. A storyteller and sociology student based in Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Manila. He actively participated in various Global Climate Strikes and made sure that the voice of the most affected people and areas of the world to the climate crisis is heard through activism, collective action, art, and storytelling. He is currently the National Campaign Coordinator for Youth Advocates for Climate Action Philippines – Fridays for Future PH. He believes that dreaming of a better world is constantly entwined with dreams of a better self.
