Filipino youth all over the country gather to spell out the call “Junk Philippine Mining Act of 1995! Ipamana Huwag Ipamina!”
Today for the Global Climate Strike, YACAP and its member organizations and chapters staged multiple protest actions throughout the day calling to junk the 1995 Mining Act, as well as the shutting down of coal mining sites which are a major source of dirty energy.
To fight for climate justice is to fight against imperialist plunder! We cannot allow the imperialists to continue to destroy our planet and future!
